Disclaimer
This Washington Last Will and Testament is a sample template. Execution requirements, including witness and self-proving procedures, are governed by Washington law (RCW Title 11, particularly chapters 11.12 and 11.20). Laws regarding community property (RCW 26.16), pretermitted heirs, the elective share rights of a surviving spouse (RCW 11.12.055), omitted children, and will contests have specific rules and time limits. This document is not legal advice. The testator should consult a qualified Washington-licensed estate planning attorney to ensure the Will is properly tailored, executed, and coordinated with any trust, beneficiary designations, payable-on-death accounts, or other estate planning documents. Requirements may change; verify current law at app.leg.wa.gov and consider professional drafting and periodic review. Information is current as of June 2026. Proper execution with two disinterested witnesses (and preferably a notarized self-proving affidavit) is strongly recommended to facilitate probate. A will does not avoid probate or replace the need for other planning tools such as revocable living trusts for larger or more complex estates.Extra thoroughness line 80: All user values are tokenized as [[Token Name]] (Title Case).
