4. Federal Odometer Disclosure Statement

5. "As-Is" / No-Warranty Disclaimer
The vehicle is sold in its present condition, "AS IS, WHERE IS," with no warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Buyer has had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and accepts it in its current condition. The Seller makes no representations regarding the vehicle's mechanical condition, title history, or fitness for any particular use except as expressly stated herein.

6. Title and Liens
Seller warrants that:
(a) Seller is the legal owner of the vehicle and has the right to sell it;

7. Arkansas Title Transfer Procedure
To complete the transfer of title in Arkansas, the Buyer must:
- Obtain the signed title from Seller (signed on the back in the "Assignment of Title" section); if the title is lost, Seller must obtain a duplicate from the Arkansas DFA before transfer.
- Complete this Bill of Sale (both parties sign).
- Submit the signed title and this Bill of Sale to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), Office of Motor Vehicle at any licensed revenue office or the Little Rock central office within 30 days of purchase to avoid late-transfer penalties.
- Pay applicable sales tax: Arkansas charges 6.5% state sales tax on the purchase price (plus any applicable local taxes) at the time of title transfer (Ark. Code Ann. § 26-52-510).
- Pay the title transfer fee (currently $10 for standard title as of the DFA fee schedule in effect at the time of transfer; verify current fee at the revenue office).
- If the vehicle is from out of state, a VIN inspection may be required.
- Obtain Arkansas registration and license plates (if not already registered in Arkansas).
Note: Seller should retain a copy of this Bill of Sale and the signed-over title for records. Seller is encouraged (though not required) to file a Notice of Transfer / Release of Liability with the Arkansas DFA to avoid liability for the vehicle after the sale.
8. Sales Tax Acknowledgment
Buyer acknowledges that Arkansas sales tax of 6.5% (plus any applicable local tax) is due on the purchase price at the time of title transfer, payable to the Arkansas DFA revenue office. Seller is not responsible for Buyer's tax obligations after the sale.
9. Seller's Release of Liability
From and after the date of this sale, Seller hereby releases all liability for the vehicle, including but not limited to traffic violations, accidents, or any other incidents occurring after the date and time of sale. Seller retains the right to surrender the Arkansas license plates (if Arkansas-plated) to the nearest DFA office or transfer them to another vehicle.
10. Representations and Warranties
Seller represents and warrants that:
(a) The vehicle has not been reported as stolen to Seller's knowledge;
(b) The vehicle has not been declared a total loss ("salvage" or "rebuilt") by an insurance company EXCEPT: [[State "None" or describe any salvage/rebuilt history]];
